Strickland has appeared on more than 60 albums. He has toured with Cassandra Wilson, Terence Blanchard, Wynton Marsalis, Vincent Herring, Nnenna Freelon, to mention but a few. With his twin brother, the saxophonist Marcus Strickland, co-leader of the group, he is certainly one of the most innovative entertainers of the new generation.
