Joined by Sean Jones, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Mark Turner, Ben Williams, Terreon Gully, and Beasley, the ensemble interpret Miles's music with their signature grooves, bold harmonies, and inspired improvisation blending the modal beauty of 'Kind of Blue,' the electric fire of 'Bitches Brew,' and the funk of 'Amandla'.

  Arte Flamenco, 35 years of Festival in Mont-de-Marsan In the heart of the Landes, every July, the streets and stages of Mont-de-Marsan welcome Arte Flamenco. Created in 1989 by the Department of Landes on the initiative of Henri Emmanuelli, the largest flamenco festival outside the Spanish borders celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2024. The opportunity for its director Lionel Niedzwiecki to look back on the history of this event that has remained faithful to the tradition of flamenco puro while exploring the paths of modernity, the links between this region of the South-West of France and Spain, the popular roots of flamenco and the attachment to the freedom of artistic creation illustrated by the shows presented during this edition by the choreographers Manuel Linán ('Muerta de amor') and Rafaela Carrasco ('Creaviva') as well as the pianist Dorantes ('Orobroy'). Three major artists of today's flamenco scene who evoke their links with Mont-de-Marsan and its audience of true aficionados and their vision on the evolution of an art that is constantly evolving, between attachment to roots and desire for modernity.   The Noseda Effect A film by Alex Olegnowicz The Noseda Effect is an intimate portrait of Gianandrea Noseda, filmed over three years, from his hometown of Milan, at the famous Teatro alla Scala, and continues at the Juilliard School, the Kennedy Center, the Metropolitan Opera and the Zurich Opera. The film features interviews with his family, friends and artistic collaborators, including Piotr Beczała, Renée Fleming, Stefano Poda and many others. The film includes footage of rehearsals with the Filarmonica della Scala, the Juilliard Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra, as well as a soundtrack from Noseda's extensive discography.
