'The Lisbon Piece, Choreography by Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker, Music Thierry de Mey, Rosas Ballet, The Lisbon Piece is a tableau for classical ballet and percussions. Thierry De Mey, who composed some of the music, is a longtime collaborator of Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker's. 'Thierry has the same obsession for structure as I do', she says. 'He comes from the cinema and knows how to build bridges between the arts.' Anne Teresa has not done much classical ballet in her work as a choreographer, even though she admires the language and trained at the Mudra school. The Lisbon Piece is a particular case in the history of Rosas. A challenge.
